About Soldiers for Justice and Peace

Soldiers for Justice and Peace provides financial support for the defense of, and lobbying for the freedom of, United States soldiers convicted of war crimes.

Geoffrey Nathan, criminal defense lawyer from Boston, is part of this team, representing one such soldier, Spc. William B. Hunsaker from southern Missouri, and Master Sgt. John Hatley and Sfc. Joseph Mayo.

Nathan also represents other soldiers facing similar charges while fighting the war on terrorism in Iraq.

Our mission is to raise money to support Nathan’s lobbying staff in Washington, D.C., who are working to change the laws and policies that determine the fate of these soldiers.

What makes the United States of America great? Is it Mount Rushmore, or the Golden Gate Bridge? The variety of landscapes, from beaches to deserts, and mountains to plains? Or is it the priceless freedom to speak, worship, and live the American dream?

Freedom isn’t free.
